The Nijmegese Vierdaagse (The Nijmegen Marches) is the world’s largest multiple-day walking event, held annually for four days in the city of Nijmegen, Netherlands.
As part of the festivities, Smaakmarkt is a weeklong food truck festival that runs alongside it for a week. From an exciting program for music lovers, a tasty alley of food trucks for foodies, a unique day filling for young families and adventurers to a cracking program for real festival fans: Smaakmarkt is home to all flavours!
Everyone is invited to come and join in at Smaakmarkt Labyrinth. You can just as easily come here with your parents as you can on your first date. It is the place where you bump into old acquaintances and make new friends over dinner, the place where fathers and queers dance the night away side by side. Here Nijmegen shares its many colours of people, flavours and music.
This is reflected in the branding: bright, colourful pops of colour in circular structures, reflecting the labyrinth pavilion the festival is held at and named after.
