Kinki Haircare

Kinki is an all-natural, sustainable, unisex shampoo bar for a globally conscious Gen-Z audience with naturally kinky, coily or curly hair. ‘Kinki’ is derived from the phonetic pronunciation of “kinky”, a term typically used to describe tighter African curl patterns.






Unisex branding often times excludes bright colours by adopting a more minimal, black and white approach. Kinki redefines that by bringing colour and vibrance into its design.






Many a time, people who identify as male and non-binary are excluded from the conversation around curly hair care, and products are heavily branded and advertised towards women only.

As a response, Kinki aims to bridge that gap and encourage more inclusivity and representation for all people with tighter curl patterns.




Kinki is also sustainable as the packaging is made out of recyclable cardboard and the bar doesn't have any additional plastic packaging like traditional shampoo bottles do.
